What We Do

Education

We support builders through education, resources, & networking. We offer free continuing education for HBA members and a Pre License course for new contractors, with a focus on best practices, affordability, and efficiency.

Advocacy

We advocate for housing policies that protect property rights and keep homes attainable. Because every $1,000 increase in housing costs prevents 1,500 people from qualifying for a home, we closely monitor laws and regulations and speak up when unnecessary mandates limit choice for homeowners and builders.

Standards

We support high building standards that prioritize safety, durability, and long-term value without unnecessary costs. Our goal is balanced standards that protect homeowners while preserving flexibility, innovation, and affordability.
